ARW AA Blog Journal Assignment 1
I think the most important issue concerning bioethics is brain death. It is difficult whether it is right to judge brain death is his death or not. Even if his brain is dead, his heart can continue working with artificial respirator. According to Shannon, there are two methods of ethical decision making that are frequently used in bioethics, they are deontological ethics and consequentialism. In terms of consequentialism, I think brain death should be considered as his death because he is unconscious and he cannot reply to anyone. However, not using artificial respirator as life-prolonging treatment seems to kill the living person, so it is difficult problem. As a result, I think brain death is the most important issue concerning bioethics.

This post is fascinating. This thinking can lead to a number of possible topics: how to define brain death, the ethics of organ donation, or the ethics of life-prolonging treatments.
